As you know, Mother Nature never designs two creatures exactly the same. That in itself is what makes Kevin's Eagles created from Moose Antler so unique. Moose Antler from northern British Columbia and Alaska are used for Kevin's art. The antler is harvested from what the moose have left behind. The common term for this is "dropped antler". Never are the moose hunted for their antler. The eyes of the Eagle are Obsidian and the wood base of the free standing sculptures are made from either Hemlock, Maple or Oak. |
